The mature garden - late summer (FBF)

The lush late summer garden is often a wall of green, accented with color from flowers. In the last couple of days I have tried to capture that as I went for walks with the dogs. It is a pleasure to share the experience.

Above is the blossom of red kuri squash and below is the fruit.

One of variety of stunning zinnias this year.

Looking through a tomato plant intermixed with sunflower, cosmos & morning glory at a row of sunflowers.

A wall of green: tomato row in front (with sunflowers, cosmos & morning glory), pole beans behind, and tall green amaranth in background.

Tomato tower with tomato, sunflower & cosmos.

Moonflowers, purple butterfly bush & Chinese lantern plant.

Purple loosestrife along the creek.
